Arun Sangwan

[Founder of The IAS Ethics Mindset]

He is the ultimate specialist for The Ethics Paper [GSIV] in UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). Apart from The Ethics Paper, he conducts select sessions on the philosophical topics for the Essay Paper.

His course starts with sharing deep insights into the ‘need and design’ of assessment – the expectations, benchmarks, purpose and design [the process, nuances and trends] – of the Ethics Paper in Civil Services Examination that accurately discern the ethical mindset, personality, and ‘the examined life’. As he explains, “the successful candidates are those who can deeply appreciate the ‘noble’ purpose that commands the scope, integrity, and design of the Ethics Paper as is”.

His deep knowledge, analysis, and a creative way of teaching makes analysis and application of complex and nuanced concepts, philosophical arguments, ethical reasoning in conflicts, dilemmas, and case-studies, simple to comprehend, respond with logic and clarity, and express effectively.

[Creative Mind Maps for accurate, deep learning and retention]

As an amazingly-creative individual and an excellent communicator, his style of teaching is unique and awe-inspiring. It makes learning super-efficient and effective that significantly enhances the quality, and speed of learning while his creative memory-maps reduce the burden of retention.

[Case Studies published internationally as early as 2014]

He was regularly invited by CNBC TV18, and ET Now [during 2016-18] as a Prof. of Ethics, and Governance, for his perspectives on critical events and evaluation of Ethics, Sustainability, Ethical leadership and Governance, Strategy, and Policy frameworks of leading institutions, and conglomerates.

His nuanced understanding and application of ethical theories and philosophical frameworks, etc. are reflections of his research published as case-studies on ethical infractions and governance, in widely acclaimed international case-centres.

[Ex Prof. of Ethics, and Governance]

He is a much sought-after specialist for conducting courses and trainings, at leading Indian Institutions, and Universities for their faculty, management and senior staff, students, and executive-education programs.

[Free time Pursuits]

He continues to pursue his passion of trekking, mountaineering, reading [comprising a diverse genre], learning Spanish, and motivating the youth to constantly embark on intellectual, and physical challenges in order to strive towards own version of eudaimonia.

His words of advice as one starts the journey “none can beat the system, the arrogance is beaten and bruised. Do as the mountaineers humbly pray to the mountain for permission to climb it”.
